Security and Confidentiality | Agent eFile

Trust and security

Confidentiality and control at every step.

Agent eFile is designed to reduce repetitive filing work while keeping credentials, review, and final submission under customer control.

Our security approach

Legal filings can contain confidential and sensitive information. Agent eFile is designed around limited access, customer control, and responsible handling of filing content.

Customer-controlled submission

Agent eFile prepares and validates. You review the filing and make the final Submit action.

Court credentials stay with you

You sign in directly to the court-filing system. Agent eFile is not designed to store your court password.

Access is limited

Customer information should be available only to authorized users and providers who need it to deliver or protect the Service.

Security monitoring

Service activity and security events may be logged to support troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and incident response.

How information moves through Agent eFile

1. Upload

You provide the filing documents and case information needed for validation.

2. Validate and prepare

Automated tools inspect the filing, identify issues, and prepare information for your review.

3. Review and submit

You verify the filing and submit it through the applicable court system.

Safeguards

Agent eFile's security program is intended to use safeguards appropriate to the service and the sensitivity of customer information. These safeguards may include:

  • protected transmission and storage of customer information;
  • identity, authentication, and account-access controls;
  • least-privilege access for personnel and service providers;
  • logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response;
  • backup and recovery processes; and
  • review of third-party providers that process customer information.

Specific controls may evolve as the Service develops. Agent eFile does not claim certification under a particular security or compliance standard unless expressly stated in writing.

Confidentiality

Agent eFile treats filing content as customer confidential information. We use it to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, and disclose it only as described in our Privacy Policy, at your direction, or as required by law.

Customers remain responsible for deciding whether Agent eFile is appropriate for privileged, sealed, regulated, or specially protected material and for complying with professional and court obligations.
