Frequently asked questions

What does Agent eFile validate?

Agent eFile reviews uploaded documents and filing information for completeness, missing or inconsistent information, and common filing issues. Validation is an aid—not a guarantee of legal sufficiency or clerk acceptance.

Who makes the final submission?

You do. Agent eFile is designed to pause before submission so you can review and approve the filing. You make the final Submit action through the applicable court-filing system.

What is included in the 30-day trial?

The trial includes 30 days of unlimited filing validation. Continued validation after the trial requires the $10 monthly subscription.

How much does Agent eFile cost?

Unlimited filing validation is $10 per month. Optional clerk filing preparation is an additional $3 per filing. Court, electronic-filing-provider, and other third-party fees are separate.

What does the optional $3 filing service include?

Agent eFile handles the repetitive work of preparing information for the clerk-filing workflow. You still review the completed filing, approve it, and make the final Submit action.

Which courts are supported?

Agent eFile is launching with Texas courts only. Coverage can vary by court, county, filing type, and filing platform. Check our Supported Courts page or contact us before relying on coverage.

Does Agent eFile store my court password?

Agent eFile is designed so you sign in directly to the court-filing system. It is not designed to store your court password.

Does Agent eFile provide legal advice?

No. Agent eFile is a technology service, not a law firm. Validation results do not replace professional judgment or independent review by a qualified legal professional.

Does a Ready result guarantee acceptance?

No. A Ready result means the filing passed the checks available in Agent eFile. Courts, clerks, and third-party filing platforms may apply additional requirements or reject a filing for reasons outside the Service.

Can I rely on Agent eFile for a filing deadline?

No single service should be your only deadline process. You remain responsible for deadlines, final submission, confirmation, rejection notices, and maintaining an alternate method for urgent filings.

How do I cancel?

Contact support@agentefile.com before your next renewal date. Cancellation prevents the next monthly charge and does not provide a prorated refund unless required by law.
